Did your parents tell you "if it seems too good to be true, then it probably is?" My parents told me, but sometimes we go for it anyway.  This is the case with most of us who became involved with Sammy Jackson.  I must say though, the guy is a good con.  He's not nervous, and he is confident, and has the right amount of Southern charm.  He comes off as a "good ol' boy" & seems very grandfatherly, who wouldn't trust him.

Chances are when you meet Sammy, who I believe is about 64, he drives up in (his girlfriends) shiny silver BMW, he shakes hands and sells you on whatever he's selling that day.  In the last few years he has been selling houses, unfortunately, he doesn't own them!  He tells you a tale about being a house mover, and how he has either a house that needs to be moved off property someone bought for another use- or it will be destroyed.  Don't worry, Sammy owns a house moving business, he can move the house for you, and "you would never know it wasn't there the whole time! You can plant some flowers the next day."  Ahhh sunshine & rainbows.  What you don't know is that Sammy has "sold" this house to others as well. He usually takes a deposit, anywhere from about 5-15k, then he pushes you to pay for the relocation of the house ($7,500).  Once you paid you now get to wait while Sammy does nothing.  He answers the phone sometimes, sometimes not.  Now you say you want your money back, Sammy accuses you of backing out of the deal & says you forfeited your $.  He claims to have a lawyer (the last time he actually spoke to him was in 2010) & says he will see you in Court.
Sammy also runs other scams, he says he fixes foundations, replaces roofs, moves houses etc.  These are the really sad stories, in a few cases he hired a crew who cut off the top of a house & never put the roof back on! Another time he "moved" a house and it fell off the truck, another time it got stuck on a railroad track, yet another hit a bridge.  Don't worry, he has insurance right? Sorry folks, he always leaves the "original value" or the home blank on the insurance form, now your claim will be rejected.  There are people out 10s of thousands, one poor woman is out 100k trying to fix her home after he destroyed it.

Check him out, he doesn't have licensed to move homes or his general contractors license.  He is bankrupt & I believe hasn't paid taxes in 4 years. He takes his scam money & puts it in his girlfriends and or daughters name so that you can't sue him for it.

So if you come across Sammy- call the police.  Here's a story of him being interviewed on channel 11 news : http://abclocal.go.com/wtvd/html5/video?id=9084050&pid=null&section=nullhttp://abclocal.go.com/wtvd/html5/video?id=9084050&pid=null&section=null

  1. So far - NO one in group one has gotten their money back. Don't know if group 2 (victims of Second Time Around House Movers) have gotten anything back. Those I know personally from group 2 have not gotten their money back. I have been told by a few new clients that Sammy is now presenting himself as LYNN JACKSON in the business community. Sammy Jackson has been involved in. Sammy Jackson Structural, Sam Sam LLC, Second Time Around House Movers which was created by Melissa Emory but used and money collected by both she and Sammy Jackson and now his latest venture he is in AAAA Structural House Moving LLC.

    1. A man going around claiming to be Lynn Jackson is really Sammy Lynn Jackson. The same person you see above. He an owner of AAAA Structural House Movers and Demolition LLC. Every year seems to bring a new LLC. Did you get scammed by this man under Sam Sam LLC? Did you get scammed under Second Time Around House Movers LLC? How about AAAA Structural House Movers LLC or AAAA Structural House Movers and Demolition LLC??

  2. Thank you so much for this warning! We need to move our house and luckily we were warned by someone else and found the proof right here on this blog. You saved us, literally, from being scammed out of "house and home." God bless those people who are honest and to heck with those who aren't.

    1. Lori, just saw your message here, in August 2019! I ended up NOT moving my little house; instead I moved OUT of the house and am filing for divorce. But we did meet with Henry Bunn from Zebulon (I think) as noted below. Seemed like a real nice guy but don't have any experience with him. The best mover I had retired and I couldn't get him back out for even one more time. Alvin (Johnson?) was his name, I think. He still does other kinds of crane work, but no more house moving. THANK YOU for warning us about this crook and his frequent name changes. You are doing all of us a great service!

How did I find this blog? I think I was searching online for house movers. Had to be. Gracias, amiga. Hope you get your money back with interest, penalties and fees from that money-grubbing crook!

  8. If you still need a mover Henry Bunn (K.B. Bunn House Moving out of Zebulon) does an excellent job and is a decent person. 919-269-6621.

  9. Lori, have you taken this criminal scammer to court? I hope so! I found your blog searching "house movers" because of stories about some bad ones in the Raleigh Durham area (where we are). We haven't moved our house yet since I always used Alvin Johnson who is now retired. Did you actually use Henry Bunn? He's been too busy to work with us for the last number of months.

My husband found someone else but I can't remember his name. Hopefully we'll move the house in the Spring after all our site improvements have been made. Thanks for your response, and referall!

  10. If its Southern Structural House Movers then you will be working with Sammy Jackson and his best friend Gary Siems or maybe their friends. Some people like to change up their name so watch out for his face. There's a large host of victims. The Feds have our cases right now so I will see Sammy Jackson in Federal court room with the US Attorney. Felonies dont expire. Look forward to it. One thing is for sure, the road to perdition has an end.

  18. It must be nice to hide vehicles and other stuff all over the place, and with people who hide behind trusts and in other towns. Must be worth hiding to go to all that trouble, Raleigh, Pittsboro, Fayetteville.
